We have a thriving community, with a modern village hall that provides a focus for a range of social and learning activities.

The village also combines an attractive countryside setting with proximity to Bromsgrove and the M42 motorway, each less than two miles away.

Hall Facilities

The facilities in the building include

  • The main hall – with space for tables and chairs for up to 100 people
  • 30 pre-school chairs and a number of preschool tables
  • A meeting room – with space for up to 15 chairs
  • A dais (platform) at the end of the main hall, suitable for presentations or performances
  • A fully fitted modern Kitchen with a full-size fridge, professional range cooker, dishwasher, and microwave, with serving hatches to the main hall.
  • Gas central heating
  • Baby Change facilities
  • Fibre Optic Wifi Broadband
  • A Defibrillator, situated on the wall near the entrance to the hall

The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a disabled toilet. Outside is a patio, extensive lawn and a children’s play area. There is parking on site for 18 cars.

Burcot Village Hall is on the B4096, less than 5 minutes drive from the M42  (junction 1).

It’s within easy reach of Bromsgrove, Redditch, Worcester and Birmingham.

When you arrive at the village, look out for the red phone box by the entrance to the hall car park.

About Burcot

The village of Burcot has a population of less than 200, yet boasts its place in history with a listing in the Domesday Book in 1086.

Nowadays Burcot has a thriving place in the local area with its modern Village Hall providing a focus for a wide range of social and learning activities. The hall houses regular village events and is also available to hire. It can seat 100 people and has a well-equipped kitchen. The lawned area includes an upgraded children’s playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and climbing wall.
